Telling lies

Say you have a friend who just does not have a clue how to dress, do you say 'yer sure you look good in that top' or do you tell the truth and say 'well to be honest no it does not'???

If you catch a partner of a friend up to no good, do you tell the friend or do you keep it to yourself???

Lying can lead to so much trouble but on the other hand can avoid a whole lot of trouble too.
Is it ok to tell the odd porky when younger rather then older, for example when late home from school and you say you was doing extra school work, when indeed you just had a work around the town (everybody can relate to that and school days), is that completely morally wrong or a teenager, well just being a teenager....

infidelity

See full size imageSee full size imageWhat a year for infidelity!!! Must be something in the air!

Is marriage for the long term a thing of the past, what happened to marriage lasting forever and working through issues together??
I personally feel its a society thing, divorce isn't looked down up on how it was many years ago, divorce parties are even thrown. Above you can see all the culprits of infidelity, and its all men however its not just men that stray, I think women do just as much, their just not so sloppy about it.

alcohol

Everybody likes a drink or too, whether its socially or a glass of wine after work. people seem to be drinking a lot more, could this be due too the recession?? People are working all the hours of the day just to make ends slightly meet. Is it no wonder people drink more due to the amount of pressure people are under???
Young kids are drinking more too, don't get it wrong we all as young kids got drunk over the park :) but it seems to be a continual thing. This day in age children seem to want to be adults to early so is this why more and more children are drinking younger or can it be the media who have an influence.

what is classed as 'being bad'?

'Being Bad'????? What do we as a society actually class as being bad? There is the obvious things such as stealing, breaking the law etc etc, however when broken down to individuals what one person may class as so to speak bad, another may not.

Smoking??? Is it actually 'bad' or just to those who do not smoke.
here
Women drinking more like men? Is that a bad thing or is it just simply women having more fun and able to drink more freely.

So what is classed as 'being bad'? personally there will always be someone around the corner to say what your doing is good or bad, however there will always be someone who does the same : )

Bandits

The being bad elements of bandits, made me think about the stories in the papers about citizens attacking the intruders who attempt to burgle their property.

This man was a good citizen who was arrested for protecting himself in his OWN property! How does that work, that someone can trespass on your property and you be charged for protecting yourself!!
Robin Hood stole from the rich to give to the poor, which in hindsight is a nice thing to do, however when does doing something wrong actually be good at the same time??? So how far can you go to protect yourself before, so to speak you go to far

article about 2 deaths after using legal drug

BBC News - Arrests after teenage M-CAT users die in Lincolnshire
Nicholas Smith and Louis Wainwright

Was looking around at some articles and this caught my attention and made me think, surely more should be done to determine whether certain drugs should be legal or not, obviously these drugs in the short term are harmless, but does anyone even know the underlyin damage (unfortunately those 2 families found out). I was watching jezza the other week (admitting to not much of a social life lol) and a boy who took this legal drunk for some time was so dependent on it, his mom had to administrate it ever 4 hours otherwise he could die!!!! but yet these drugs remain legal

Drugs

The issue with drugs and the younger generations boils down to boredom and peer pressure. There seems to be an overwhelming issue of young kids wanting to be lil adults, so the likelyhood to bow down to peer pressure is unfortunatly high.
If there was more to do for kids then i think we would see less kids drinking and smoking on parks.
It almost seems also that in order for people to have 'a good night out' drugs seem to be needed, all i think to that is, if thats the case the company must not be that great

shoplifting

I think people shop lift because they get an adrealine rush from the situation, its funny really because it seems to be people who shoplift tend to be able to afford the item their stealing. I don't think that all the people out there who do steal intend to steal. The current recession is making shoplifting rise as the prices are getting to high and wages are not being risen

Smoking

Personlly smoking is not something I am a fan of, however if others smoke it doesn't really faze me. Although even though I am not a smoker, the ban on smoking in public places e.g. pubs, was a bit extreme.
